The documentary about Jindabyne was filmed in 4 days. We focused on doing interviews with residents without any script, to get authentic and truthful opinions about the growing tourist town and its unique history. This approach was essential for our team, but made my work as an editor very important, to build the cohesive storyline through the puzzles of residents’ interviews. The goal was to convey the essence of Jindabyne and tell the story of loss and gain of the town and its residents.
